You can talk about the positives and negatives of having a jury system in both criminal and civil proceedings, which means that a couple of guys and girls will look at you and decide how much they want you in their society:

Don't care. This is a game, not real life. I can separate fiction from reality, which doesn't seem to apply to lot of chronic F95zone users unfortunately.
Direct democracy / Majority rule is the most garbage way to go about making decisions for a large population for this exact reason.
Yeah fair enough nothing against that. I just strongly like the "don't like don't read" idea.
I think the average horror movies have darker content, this really isn't extreme. It's just dramatic, nsfw and mildly racist.

It's odd when it goes in the direction of wanting the game to be changed - leaving a 1 star rating because of the content which messes up the game ratiing / asking author to change content / wanting the game to be removed / etc.
This game has a lot of haters. I don't understand why. It's funny because, to me, this game isn't as dark as many people say here. In fact, I find the "darkest parts" of this game quite amusing. Especially the black "gangsters." They really seem like fake gangsters from a certain style of music.
Actually, I wrote a critical review mocking that and other things. However, I decided to give it 5 stars because this game does what it's supposed to do very well. As a porn game, it's exciting, it gets you hard, and it helps you have a good time masturbating. You really can't ask for more from a porn game. No matter how much you overthink it, that's the purpose of an adult visual novel.
As I mentioned in my review, this is an "American" NTR, not the typical Japanese NTR where the racial aspect is practically irrelevant. Personally, I don't give a shit about racial issues. I don't live in a culture obsessed with stupid racial labels. What excites me, however, is the theme of humiliation, and if the racial aspect is an excuse to develop that theme, I think it's a valid excuse.
In any case, it seems that this game does a pretty good job of exploiting the fears of those for whom the racial issue means something. I dare to think that many negative reviews, and many negative comments here, indicate that the developer does a great job of exploiting the insecurity of certain white Americans (Europeans too?). I think many of those who vote negatively or criticize deep down can't wait for the next update to come out, so they can furiously masturbate with a great sense of guilt.

The IRL digs at positive representation at the cost of humanity and reason is a wonderful foundation for hate oriented games: gang male members hating on the police, their peers, their women, bullying and murdering anyone they hate, raping everyone they know - with no comeuppance or even moral dillema in their fight to kill brains - are the stand out themes of this game:
having them spill and echo in the reviews as many players can just embrace the cynnical hate and use it to purge themselves of the game experience, once they ended the game play and they want to go back to society and keep quiet.
The good thing, such hate goes back into the game, through reviews, rightfully where it needs to stay.

Making a game predicated on hate and some of the most hienous crimes known to society today will promote hate.

Saying this game is about hate is absolutely the wrong way to look at it. Yes, there are no happy endings and it has no moral redemption arc. Thats the point. There is value in looking at the worst parts of human nature in an unflinching way.
Lots of people mistake the interracial thing as racist. Its not. The society we live has deemed something things taboo and even though our society has been better, there is still more than vestige of the forbidden aspect of interracial relationships.
So many of people kinks are based on that exact premise. "Im going to do what is forbidden to me". Let me expand

- Stress relief: Engaging in "wrong" behaviors in a controlled, consensual setting can provide relief from the stress of constantly following societal rules.
- Psychological contrast: The contrast between one's public persona and private desires can enhance arousal.
- Cultural suppression: Repressing certain desires may inadvertently intensify them.
